Vote Ally
Vote Ally was my start-up for the apathetic voter. I was seeking to harness them for real change, by bundling their vote around a single cause - while also providing politicians a direct channel of communication to potential voters.
This project was very interesting from a research perspective. Bootstrapping everything together myself, under extremely tight deadlines to present my case to seasoned entrepreneurs on a weekly basis was stressful. I quickly learned to provide rock solid arguments you had to do rock solid research.
Ultimately my monetization strategy wasn’t clear enough to justify my own financial risk. Here’s one of my final slide decks:
This was the first iteration to convey Vote Ally's concept to onboard new users.
Some times I kick myself for not pursuing this idea further considering the tremendous growth, for better or worse, that this space has experienced - but this broad learning experience of starting a company was stellar.
